Voyanti is an AI-powered travel risk management and safety intelligence platform. We help travelers and organizations understand, monitor, and respond to travel risks in real time. Our tagline is Travel Intelligently.
01Who we are
Voyanti is an AI-powered travel risk management and safety intelligence platform. We help travelers and organizations understand, monitor, and respond to travel risks in real time. Our tagline is Travel Intelligently.
This policy is operated by Voyanti Tech, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Voyanti,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). It explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our website, dashboard, alerts, and messaging assistants on WhatsApp, Slack, and email (together, the “Services”).
02How we work with your organization
Many travelers reach Voyanti through their employer or organization. Where an organization provides your access and adds your information to the Services, we generally handle that information on the organization’s behalf and under its instructions for travel safety and duty-of-care purposes. That organization’s own privacy notice also applies, and you may need to direct some requests to them.
Where you interact with Voyanti directly on your own behalf, we handle your information as described in this policy.
03Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services and what your organization provides, we may collect:
- Account and contact information — name, email, phone number, company, job title, and login or authentication information.
- Traveler profile information — name, phone, email, employer or sponsoring organization, travel dates, destination, itinerary details (flights, hotels, transport, meetings), emergency contacts if provided, and preferences such as language or support needs.
- Communications and message data — messages exchanged via WhatsApp, Slack, email, or web chat; your questions and our assistant’s responses; alert acknowledgements; opt-in and opt-out records; escalation and support history; and delivery, read, or interaction information where available.
- Location and itinerary data — your destination and itinerary; location you provide; approximate location inferred from device, IP, or platform information; and precise or live location only where you expressly share it or where it is necessary for safety or emergency support.
- Risk and safety data — risk briefings, alert history, risk and confidence scores, source indicators, travel disruption data, safety recommendations, and emergency or escalation logs.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, browser/device information, log files, cookies or similar technologies, usage analytics, diagnostic data, and security monitoring data.
- Sensitive information — health, medical, accessibility, emergency, precise location, passport or travel document, or similar information, collected only where you voluntarily provide it, where it is necessary for safety or emergency support, where required by law, or where expressly authorized. We minimize our collection and use of this information and limit who can access it.
04How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- Send travel alerts, risk briefings, and daily risk notifications.
- Respond to your questions and provide support.
- Monitor destinations and itineraries for relevant risks.
- Support your organization's duty-of-care responsibilities.
- Provide dashboards, reporting, and administrative tools.
- Escalate emergencies or urgent safety issues and coordinate a response (see Section 7).
- Improve, secure, troubleshoot, and debug the Services.
- Keep opt-in/opt-out and compliance records.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, spam, and platform violations.
- Comply with law, contracts, platform rules, and legal process.
- Generate aggregated or de-identified analytics and risk intelligence.
We do not sell personal information. We do not allow customer or traveler personal information to be used to train public or third-party AI models without explicit permission.
05How our AI works
The Services use AI and automated systems to process travel-related questions, itinerary context, risk signals, and safety intelligence, and to generate alerts, recommendations, summaries, and risk briefings.
- AI outputs are informational and risk-supportive. They are not guarantees of safety and are not legal, medical, or emergency advice, nor a substitute for emergency services.
- Human review may occur for support, safety escalation, quality assurance, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
- We may use third-party AI infrastructure or providers to deliver these features. We do not permit your personal information to be used to train public third-party AI models without permission.
- Always use your own judgment and follow official guidance from local authorities, emergency services, your employer, airlines, and consulates.
06WhatsApp and messaging communications
We may communicate with you through the WhatsApp Business Platform, Slack, and email.
- You must opt in to receive WhatsApp messages from Voyanti.
- Messages may include travel alerts, risk briefings and notifications, itinerary updates, safety checks, escalation notices, and support — and we may use approved message templates where required.
- You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP," "unsubscribe," or "opt out," or by using any provided opt-out option. We will honor opt-out requests. Opting out may limit or disable safety-related features.
- WhatsApp and Meta process certain information under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
- We are responsible for our own collection, use, disclosure, and retention of information from our WhatsApp interactions, and we do not use WhatsApp-derived data for unrelated advertising or profiling.
07Emergency coordination
Voyanti helps coordinate access to a vetted network of independent third-party operational and response providers. Voyanti does not itself provide emergency, medical, security, evacuation, or rescue services. In any emergency, contact local emergency services first. Where appropriate, and to support your safety, we may share relevant information with response partners, your emergency contacts, your organization, or relevant authorities.
08What your organization can see
If your access is provided by an organization, authorized administrators at that organization may see travel and safety-related information for duty-of-care purposes — including your trip details, destination, risk level, briefing and acknowledgement status, and escalation or crisis status. In a crisis, a Voyanti operator or authorized responder may join or take over a chat to assist you; where this happens, you will be notified in the chat. We aim to limit the sharing of private chat content with your organization, and generally do so only where necessary for safety, configuration, legal compliance, emergency escalation, or support.
09How we share information
We may share information with:
- Your organization and its authorized administrators.
- Communications platforms (WhatsApp/Meta, Slack, email providers).
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
- AI and data processing providers.
- Analytics, support, and security providers.
- Emergency, medical, security, transportation, consular, or response partners where relevant to a safety situation.
- Legal, regulatory, or safety authorities where required or necessary.
- Our professional advisors.
- Parties to a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or restructuring.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you.
10Where we process information
Voyanti is based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your own.
11How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services. When you or your organization request deletion, we delete or de-identify your personal information so that it no longer identifies you, except where we must retain certain records to comply with law, resolve disputes, or maintain the safety and security of the Services. We may keep aggregated or de-identified information, which no longer identifies you, for longer.
12Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and least privilege, authentication controls, logging and monitoring, vendor diligence, and incident-response practices. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to withdraw consent; to object to or restrict certain processing; to opt out of marketing; and to opt out of messaging. To exercise these rights, contact info@voyanti.ai. If your access is provided by an organization, we may direct your request to that organization or act on its instructions. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
14Marketing
Service and safety messages are not marketing. We send marketing communications only where permitted by law or with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Opting out of marketing does not stop critical service or safety messages unless you disable the relevant Service.
15Cookies
Our website may use essential cookies needed for the site to function, and analytics or preference cookies to understand and improve usage. Where available, you can manage cookies through your browser settings. We will update this section as our website tooling is finalized.
16Children
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact info@voyanti.ai.
17Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last Updated” date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
